Is there anything more pleasing that a discernibly healthy ? The sort of that means you can eat whatever you want later on because The Good Work has already been done. Eating bircher muesli always makes me feel smug, and this recipe makes good use of my pile of .

Cherry bircher muesli
Serves 1

125g cherries
35g oats
150ml apple juice
1 apple
100g natural yogurt
6–7 almonds

1 Stone and halve the cherries. Put them in a bowl with the oats and pour over the apple juice. Cover and chill overnight in the fridge.

2 In the morning, core the apple and grate it. Stir the apple and yogurt into the oats then spoon into your serving bowl. Roughly chop the almonds and sprinkle over the muesli. Serve.
