Well, it’s all change around here, isn’t it? Having used the most basic WordPress platform for 3 years, I decided that maybe, just maybe, I was going to keep this blogging lark up. So the nice man from Truffle Webs Services designed me a proper website and here we all are.
My first post on this spanking new site is a bit of a swizz because it’s a pointer to my latest post for Aol lifestyle. You’ll normally find me there there every Friday and this week’s recipe is for upside down pineapple cake. It’s properly retrotastic, with glacé cherries lounging in the middle of pineapple rings and a vanilla sponge that tastes like Sunday teatime. It’s perfect served warm with custard, which is exactly the sort of cake this brief spell of Siberian wintriness requires. So do your worst snow clouds. We have cake and custard insulation – you can’t beat that.
