Made with that magic combination of ground almonds and polenta and topped with my fruit/vegetable of choice at the moment, rhubarb, it is a totally awesome cake that’s good warm for pudding or eaten cold, slice by slice, over the course of a few days (OK, I admit, over the course of a day).
