  1. Always meant to make this… can’t make up my mind whether it’s better to call it cinder toffee or hokey pokey. The latter makes me laugh but the former sounds pleasingly Dickensian…!

      Hokey pokey is a great name, isn’t it? I think on every night bar Bonfire Night I’ll call it hokey pokey, but for November 5th cinder toffee seems appropriate.
