Blackberry and apple tray bake

The skies are watery blue, the leaves on the trees are crunchy brown and blog posts like this mention mists, mellow fruitfulness and the childhood joys of blackberrying.     Jassy, I just popped this in the oven and while I wait for the timer, I am curious if your baking tin was really 8cm x 30cm?

    I’m an ex-pat, and I left the UK before you ‘went metric’. I tried to: 1. convert the recipe to pounds and ounces, and 2. double it, as my tray is WAY bigger than 8cm x 30cm !! 🙂 ha ha ha 6 eggs, over a 1lb of flour – you get the idea, I actually had so much cake mixture I’ve made two, one for home and one for work tomorrow.
    It smells fab and can’t wait to taste it.

      Oops, no: 18cm x 30cm! That’s a typo and a half! I’ll get that corrected. The tin I used is actually a brownie pan and it’s perfect for traybakes. I hope you enjoyed your super-sized version.
